Scouts BSA has a wide variety of merit badges available to our scouts.  Some are required in order to attain the prestigous rank of Eagle Scout.  Others are optional,  the scout being encouraged to explore topics that are of interest to a particular individual.

While summer camp is a great opportunity to earn merit badges, there are local opportunities throughout the year to pursue individual learning as well.

Merit Badge Counselors

Ann Arbor Scout Troop 7 has numerous merit badge counselors who are able to assist our scouts along their journey, approving and overseeing their progress towards completion of a given merit badge.
